Iplehouse Big Outfit Sale Haul

A few weeks ago, Iplehouse announced that they were holding a big outfit sale on certain clothes which would be cut down to 50% of the original price. So I had a look and OMFG! I went insane! I probably really shouldn't have gone nuts...I mean, I wouldn't do this in real-life...or would I? O_O

Iplehouse is known to be expensive so I really try to make orders count...But seeing certain items cut down to half price was really a godsend and I couldn't resist! I have no self control.

So yeah, I went a bit lil' mental and bought some goodies. I have included a picture of the stuff I got, in which I mostly got clothes for SID males since I have plans :) *cough*CLAUDE*cough*

I also bought an Iplehouse Lee head which was on sale on the DOA marketplace so he should be arriving sometime soon. I need to hunt for a body too.

As usual, the items came nicely wrapped, all secure and tight by Iplehouse. I had to pay customs though :(

I also got the EID male layered cardigan and the cargo pants. I have no EID doll but I got it anyway in case my plans for the future change. I don't have a picture of the layered cardigan because it was too dark and my camera couldn't pick it up >_>

I only got 2 items for SID woman - the shirt in two colours, wine red and blue. The other items for sale for SID woman didn't appeal to me much.

I can't wait to try these on a doll hehe :)

ET is home! I mean, Fairyland Feeple60 Mirwen Box Opening XD

Hey everyone, more doll related stuff today. I noticed I had an unsubscriber and sniffed slightly, since, y’know, it happened after I began posting more and more about BJD stuff. I can’t help it if my hobbies turn a tide to a new direction. Don’t worry folks, I still like drawing and writing…just don’t do it often as much as I used to :(

Anyway, ET  Mirwen came home! I got her customs letter during the weekend and unfortunately only Tuesday was the nearest day available for delivery. To my dismay I then found out no-one was going to be at home. I went to work today panicking because I just couldn’t wait any longer.

I finished a 7pm shift and after calling my family to ask if anything came home, I was told I had missed 2 parcels but 1 was with the neighbours. I didn’t think it would be Mirwen since mostly all customs stuff I’ve had to sign for. I was like ‘NOOOOOOOOOO!’ at the thought of redelivery. I’ve been waiting since December for her.

when I came home my neighbour came over with a massive box for me and I was so happy :)

1. So this is Mirwen’s box. Those idiots at Parcelforce tried to open and see what it was because the back had a massive hole in it. When they saw the foam and Korean newspaper I guess they gave up.

2. Her box was red and slightly smaller than Aria’s. I knew Mirwen was about 55cm so was aware that she’d be a lot smaller. Her box was also very light too. Her box had an engraved symbol but no matter how many pictures I took of it it wouldn’t show up on my crappy camera >_<

She came with the Fairyland calendar whooo~~~

3. She came with a Feeple booklet and certificate. She was also covered in a black velvety foam thing.

4. As nice as the velvet foam thing was, Mirwen was covered in some bits of black fluff. OMG I touched her hand and the resin was so smooth @_@

5. Mirwen has a nice body. It’s so feminine but cute at the same time. I don’t know what hands she gave me and what bust size she is. And she’s actually a lot lighter than the other dolls I have *coughREIJIHESABEASTWEIGHTOFASMALLBABYcough* I think I really like the Fairyland Fepple60 size. They’re so nice and easy to handle.

6. I had Mirwen sit and stand. She poses well and can stand by herself. Her head is pretty big, which is why the first thought that ran through my mind was “ET?” Sorry I am weird like that. Just kidding though, I love Mirwen and her sculpt. She’s a baldy right now  because I haven’t ordered any clothes or a wig for her yet *_*

The eyes they gave her are waaaay too big. I also didn’t order her with a faceup because I wanted to do it myself.

Btw, has anyone got any ideas on how to remove her head? The magnets are stuck fast or something. I can’t seem to take it off.

7. So remember the black velvet padding? She’s got a little black stain on her back and butt :(That makes me sad.

More Iplehouse Aria Spam

Sorry guys, I couldn't resist.

Here is the Iplehouse frilly blouse set on an SID female doll. The skirt's a lot shorter than I had wanted though.

Here it is on Aria:

I changed her wig because the Iplehouse one slipped off her head too much, which is a shame; so this is a Nine9style and OMG she looks like a mini Tiffany from SNSD (but I really wanted a mini Taeyon lol). She actually reminds me of a Japanese gyaru, so I'm very pleased with how she looks <3 She's so adorableeeee.

I had a dark-brown wig too which is the exact same, so same length and same straight fringe, but she kind of looked like the girl from The Ring so....er yeah I just changed it to this brown one instead haha. She can stand fine on her own :) but because I made her sit at some point, she bends over easily >o<

The tweed skirt at the back looks like a corset so it's tied together with string. The black stockings that come with the skirt were wayyyyy too tight so I left them alone. Although I really can't justify how nice the doll and the clothes are in real life.

I put her beside Reiji again. I think they like being near each other :3

From now on I'll call it 'The Ring' wig. You know, cos she looks like the girl from The Ring. LOL

Iplehouse Aria Arrives!

Hi everyone! I would like to share with you all that I received my first Iplehouse BJD today! I'm so happy because I was working a crappy 10am to 7pm shift, put up with so much crap during my work, got rejected from a job that I had interviewed for earlier on in the day before my shift - and then I came home to find that this was waiting for me! I'm so happy! It really lifted my spirits up!!!!

I haven't actually seen many Iplehouse Aria's around so I hope these photos contribute :3 I got her in Normal Skin plus faceup A and I put her on 2 month layaway. Unfortunately I ordered her at the end of November and then Iplehouse started their Christmas promotion. But oh well, I am glad she's here! 

I made a video but it's my first and for some reason it's disappeared from my camera(?!). 

Anyway, LET THE PICTURE SPAM BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Warning: Doll Nudity!

1. The box was huge but so light. It stood up to my elbows

2. The box was orange with a flimsy lid and was very good quality. I'm keeping this!!!! No way am I going to throw it out XD

3. The infamous foam lol. But this time it's a foam woman XD Aria was carefully wrapped in bubblewrap around her neck, legs, feet and arms but they slipped off fairly easily. She's actually a lot bigger than I had thought. She had a facemask which I had removed but thank god it was there because I saw some debris on it and it would've ruined the faceup.

I chose Aria because she reminds me a lot of my OC (Ruby) from one of my fanfics, Oh My Alucard. I've never had a clear image of Ruby in my head but when I saw Aria I just thought she fit the bill!!!!! 

4. I put away my guy doll because she was nekkid lol. I got her with small boobezz so she could fit into more clothing except from Iplehouse (or so I hope... lol). Even though it was a small bust I thought it was still rather large LMAO (in that case I wonder what glamour size is like O_O)

5. She came with the assembly manual, COA and even the calendar. OMFG I DIDN'T THINK I QUALIFIED FOR A CALENDAR BECAUSE I'M SURE THEY SAID IT WAS FOR ORDERS PLACED IN DECEMBER :O THANK YOU IPLEHOUSEEEEEEEE

6. I also got her a wig and some clothes so she's not totally nude XD But they packaged the swan dress set as if they just shoved it inside with little care...

7. Her body is so awesome!!!!!! And she's got toenails and fingernails!!! The detail is amazinggggg

Sorry Ive never had a girl doll before so this is all so so new o_O

8. Finally, she is all dressed up. Sorry for the crap photography. I'm no pro lol. Btw her wig is quite loose and slips off quite a lot. But it's veryyy pretty  They gave her blue eyes - I wanted brown but Iplehouse said its random and in the end, I'm okay with it, because you know what??? Ruby in Oh My Alucard has blue eyes and brown hair! whooooo~~~~

I got her other clothes too (the newest frilly blouse and skirt and a pair of heels but I thought I'd show them to you guys later).

9. I put her to stand beside Reiji.

Reiji: ............(It's a girl. What do I do?)

And I have them holding hands too haha. I think they look quite cute together. She's rather tiny compared to him XD I know Reiji's quite a mahoosive doll being 70cm but I didn't know he'd be that big hahaaha.

Anyway I'm so happy with her :3 She's much more beautiful in person and I'm so glad I bought her XD Ohhh Iplehouse, I will be loyal to you forever!!!!!

Doll Plans for 2015

So, this post is also posted up on my wordpress blog, but I hate, absolute HATE the new wordpress dashboard so I find this blog much much easier to post up things.

Anyway, here goes:

I have something to share with you all:

I did the unthinkable…

…I ordered an Iplehouse doll.

I ordered an SID Aria with A-type faceup, who should be coming on Tuesday, according to the courier, Parcelforce. I actually ordered her waaaay back in November last year and popped her onto a layaway plan. I raged for a while because after I ordered her, Iplehouse started their Christmas event. At that time, it didn’t quite dawn to me what I had just did and I just went around life as usual….but when the final paypal invoice came through from Iplehouse, I saw the email and I was so excited. And then I also had a little buyer’s remorse.

Aria cost me a lot TT_TT” And I also had to pay customs charges too…

There were several reasons I chose her, especially because she was a female doll and she never popped up in my previous doll posts or anything, but when I saw her pictures on the Iplehouse website, I thought her sculpt was just lovely, there was nothing I could see wrong, and I really wanted her as part of my doll collection.

Second….most doll owners buy dolls because they use them as their OCs. I guess that’s quite true, because OMG! She just screamed ‘Ruby‘ to me. Although I probably won’t call her ‘Ruby‘ or anything when she comes through the post. I really want a Claude too, but for the time being he is only available on Doll Choice and there is no layaway option and seeing all that cash vanish from my bank at once will probably tear me apart (and my family, because they hate dolls)…

But if I think about it…

I blogged about dolls the first time back in 2013 and I mentioned how expensive they were and how I would probably never be able to afford them. Since then I’ve managed to order my first BJD last year – Reiji – and then I managed to order Aria and 2 others!

FYI – I have also ordered a Fairyland Feeple60 Mirwen and a Dollclans Kien but nothing exciting is happening yet because my account pages keeps saying something like this:

I guess I’m a very impatient person because I really want to tear my tear my hair out. When will they be ready???? *cries*

I got Mirwen when Fairyland opened their Moe range. I don’t know what Fairyland dolls are like so I’m quite worried and I’ve never ordered before from them in general. Same goes for Dollclans, but when I ordered, they has a Christmas sale which was $60 off so that really kicked a lot off Kien LOL. I didn’t order any of the dolls with a faceup, except from Aria.

Just to let you guys know: I work full-time, 9-5pm. Monday to Friday. I’m not an avid blogger, I don’t have a trillion followers, I don’t do youtube vids. I sell some stuff on ebay but only stuff I don’t need anymore. I just have a basic minimal income, but I actually wanted to use my earnings to spend on something that I really want, too. Hopefully I won’t buy any other dolls after these guys, eh? Well, I’ll still try and save up for Claude, at least…
